Josh Silverman
An Attorney Who Fights for the People
About Josh Silverman
"I want to make it expensive for nursing homes to provide bad care."
Josh Silverman founded the Silverman Law Firm LC in January 2013 after serving as a partner at Williamson Petty LC. As a solo practitioner, he has the flexibility to carefully select his cases and give each client his direct, personal attention from the initial interview through trial. There are no hand-offs here. When you hire Josh, you work with Josh.
Our personal injury attorney in Richmond, VA, focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, including nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, products liability, automobile and trucking accidents, and personal injury law. He is a member of the American Association for Justice's Nursing Home Litigation Group and serves on the Board of Governors for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
A Richmond Attorney Invested in His Community
Contributing to the community is a defining part of Josh's practice. He regularly volunteers at the Virginia Legal Aid Society and provides pro-bono representation through the Legal Information Network for Cancer. He has lectured to thousands of Richmond high school students about the legal consequences of drunk driving through the Virginia Road to Justice program.
The Silverman Law Firm also sponsors community events including Climb to Conquer Cancer, which supports the Massey Cancer Center, and the Heart of Virginia Bike Festival, which supports the Brain Injury Association of Virginia and Bikes for Kids.
