Sophia Sam immigrated to the United States from Cambodia with her family in 1981 to escape the Khmer Rouge genocide. Growing up, her parents instilled in her the importance of freedom and rights. This led her to pursue a career in the justice system that her parents fought so hard to be a part of.

Ms. Sam has been a paralegal since 2001 with experience in a wide range of cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice/wrongful death, nursing home abuse/neglect, multi-district litigation, product liability, criminal defense, asbestos, real estate, bankruptcy, complex commercial litigation, traumatic brain injury, lead poisoning, premise, and automobile/trucking accidents.
Ms. Sam has extensive experience in all phases of litigation and her knowledge of both plaintiff and defense strategies help the firm to provide exceptional service to our clients.
In her free time, Ms. Sam enjoys volunteering, reading, outdoor activities and spending time with her family. She is the leader of her daughter's Girl Scout troop and is a shameless seller of Girl Scout cookies. Ms. Sam's direct dial is 804-500-5377.
